On 4-21-03 I ordered a printer that was an unbelievable low price.
I am a computer reseller and have been looking for a low priced printer to compete against the big guys.
I used pricewatch.com and came to Techsavings.com for a low priced black new printer. The price was only $41.00.
I placed an order on 4-21-03 and it was billed to my check card visa on the 23rd.
Then nothing happened. Nothing at all. About fifteen days later I called thier 1-800 number and and spoke with a gentlemen from the reseller department and he said he would correct the order and even refunded the tax (as I am a reseller buying this to resell) back onto my credit card.
He assured me I would recieve the printer within a few days. And guess what... Nothing. So I called back again.
And now the 1-800 number says that they do not speak with anyone via phone anymore and that all customer service issues have to be handled through email.
And so I began emailing. And emailing and emailing. And no response. At all.
I started leaving my phone number as well so they could call. No response. On each email was my order number and all my contact info.
None were returned by hotmail as undelivered so I know they got them. So I called the telephone directory to see if I could get another number to call them by.
I got a local 352 number and the same recording. I called directory and asked to search the address listed for a different number and gues what they said.
No number listed at that address and no business at that address as well. Only a ups and a mailboxes etc. WHat? I looked in the FL sunbiz to get the name of the business incorporator and got a different address in gainsville and guses what. No one at that address by that name according to the directory. Very fishy!
My last effort was to try the fax machine listed and I wrote out my problem and my order number with my telephone number and all my contact info and I know they got it because the machine gave me confirmation sheet. And guess what still no response!
I am now meeting with my bank to try to reverse the charge and will never do business with them again.
My bank said that they could not promiss they could reverse the charge but I tell you what if the charge does not get reversed I am going to the gainsviell and ocala police stations and filing a report!!!
And just think all they had to do was call me or email me and let me know what is going on! Thats it. Just a call and say "hey sorry we don't have it here is a refund or it will be a week late" or something but nothing.
They owe me $51.06 dollars.
