I like many others on-line signed up for a $1.95 trail period for Google cash. After attempting to call the customer support number to get help like the confirmation e-mail I recieved instructed. The number was not in service after repeated attempts to call. I decided to cancel on day 4 of the 7 day free trail period.
As the customer support number was not in service I went on line and found a complaint website and obtained a number to their billing department. I called and talked to a customer service rep. He said that he looked up my information and would process my cancellation within 48 hours.
Within that same 48 hours my credit card was charged $69.95. I called the billing department back and was given another number to call. I called and spoke to a young lady that said she would not give me a refund as I was past the 7 day trail period. I then told her that I had called and cancelled on the 4th day of the free trail period.
She informed me that they had no record of my cancellation. She asked who did I speak to before. I said your billing department, and I gave her the confirmation number for my cancellation. She informed me that their billing department hand no authority to process cancellations and that my cancellation number was basically made up.
She still refused to refund my money. Toward the end of the call she offerd me a 50% refund. I declined informing her that I expected as advertised a full refund. She declined. I then called my credit card company to dispute the UNAUTHORIZED transaction. I'm currently awaiting a hopefully satisfactory resolution.
In a nutshell GOOGLE CASH is a shell game designed to STEAL YOUR MONEY. My advice STEER CLEAR!!
