Dynamic Financial called my mother, Marjorie Hurst, July 14 (although she was on the National Do Not Call Registry) with an offer to reduce her credit card interest rates. She asked them to call me and present their plan to me as she has trouble comprehending anything. I told them that I thought it was a good idea, but I wanted to explain the plan to her and that I would call them back. My mother told me she didn't want to do it as it was too expensive ($595.00). They charged her credit card anyway the same day that I told them to wait.
I called them back and told them to cancel the transaction the next day. They told me she would have to wait until she received the "Welcome Letter" and then cancel. She received the "Welcome Letter" on July 17th and faxed the cancellation to them July 18th. Dynamic Financial claims they refunded the money to her credit card July 23 but Dynamic Financial says they have no transaction number for the refund. Her credit card company needs written verification of the refund.
Dynamic Financial says their Billing Department will contact me in 24-48 hours to address this. I don't know if the Billing Department is going to call me back or not, and Customer Service at Dynamic Financial won't let me talk to their Billing Department. Their Customer Service Representatives are very rude and hang up on me. Their Customer Service Rep says that they have an audio recording of the transaction being authorized but they don't have to play it for us since they claim the money has been refunded.
