I purchased an Acura Bose sound systemt that came with a a coupon code for a FREE 5.1 cd. I went to the website,
(http://www.5point1.com/contactus.html)
I used the code and picked out a cd and my order was processed on July 31st. I have the receipt and confirmation form from the company that was sent via email. The item was never sent. I contacted the President of the company, Larry Klenin whom stated there was nothing he could do. He went on to offer a meak resolution to this matter that was unfair to me as the consumer. Mr. Klenin states that he goes above and beyond for his customers, I disagree.
I was also solicited by this company to a buy one cd get one free from acura/bose but directly through 5.1 audio. This was before I had any problems. I tried to order an additional two cd's that met the qualifications and could not process the order although there was no posted expiration date and I did it the same day the email was sent to me from the company. To order these cd's a valid vin and dealership needs to be included with your order to authenticate the vehicle and it's purchase. I contacted Larry Klenin via email and he told me the promotion had ended. I told him it was not fair to email a customer July 31st with a promotion and not have it be honored.
During the next few weeks I was waiting for my cd. So on 08/25/08 I called Larry Klenin and asked him when my order would be shipped he stated he would call me back. He called me back within 5 minuteds and stated that that other promotion had ended. I had a valid code that was given to me by acura and the order was processed. He then went on to tell me he could do nothing for me as a customer but have me order more products, I kindly declined. I will take my business elsewhere.
