I placed an online order for a Bose speaker system from Vertigoonline.com considering that their price is $300 cheaper then Bose. On june 16,04 my credit card was charged for a total amount of $1,420.05. An invoice email was sent as a confirmation.
4 days after, I emailed to check status of order but in vain. I called and learned that order will be in soon.
After a week, I was told that Bose has mistakenly shipped the wrong items, and that an extra week is needed to get it to their warehouse.
2 weeks later, I was told that there was a delay from Bose, but that a shipment would be in by July 6.
On July 3, I wrote an email requesting cancellation of order if not received by July 6.
On July 7, I called to find out that no items have been shipped to me and there was no tracking number, so I angrily asked for an immediate refund, which I was promised to get in an hour and that a fax confirmation will follow.
On July 8, I was told that refund is in accounting department and that the process has to take its course of which time was never defined.
During all my phone conversations, I came to realize that a one-woman-show called Mary runs the whole company, and most probably a small 3x3 sq/f office with a nice web site designed for abuse and scam.
Please take note and avoid doing busineess with them.
