Lies By CSR, Missed Appointments, Wrong Equipment, Unsatisfactory Executive Customer Service -
A comcastic experience
Don't bother trying to sign up for Comcast &their CSR's are either lying or uninformed. They make appointments and cancel them w/o telling you. Completely OK with Comcast if you lose 2 days of work waiting for their installers - who either never show or show up with the wrong equipment.
Also a HUGE waste of time trying to get information.
After 6 hours on the phone with various people - I was never told that 1) I would have to rent modems (the only company who even does this!) without which I would not be connected. Their $99 package doesn't include modems -so even the name is a misnomer. It's way more than $99 if you actually want to connect to anything. Even after you spend hours telling them how many computers, TVs, etc —they send out a sub-par installer who behaved as if he had never seen a cable wire - they send out an installer with 1 box.
If you want to speak to a supervisor— you get a return call from a person with no last name and no direct phone number — who tells you to call the 800 number and ask for Bill the Supervisor—Good Luck!
No use writing to the Executive Committee either. I sent an e-mail and received a phone call from someone in Corporate wanting to resolve my situation. Obviously — it can't be done. Even the Executive CSR - who claimed she could resolve everything - never even bothered to follow-up or return my calls for a resolution.
I have wasted more time trying to become a subscriber — to no avail. This company deserves the horrible reputation that they have
and I would like to warn others who read the comments on this site not to even bother with this company. They are scammers and liars and don't deserve your money — or the time it takes to deal with their horrendous customer service — on every level
