I initially paid $7.95 for a three day express delivery, not $1.95 like the company is claiming. I called back a month later in February because I had not received anything.
I had not seen my credit card statement to realize that I had been charged $49.95 not once but twice. Another $49.95 was charged for the month of March. At no time did anyone mention that I'd be charged $49.95 per month. Granted in the middle of February I did not know what was in this package. Because I had not received it!
So their 14 day clause was an easy charge when the person is left clue less as to what their intention were. When I did finally receive their package, by this time, I had lost all interest believing that it was a scam and I'd take the $7.95 lost. Not realizing that they were already having a field day with my credit card. It wasn't until mid March, when I went to make a credit card payment that I realized what was going on. I was furious to see an over the limit charge, when I knew I had not used the card, except for the $7.95 back in January.
At no time did I authorize anyone to charge a monthly fee on my credit card. At no time was I told that I'd be charged a monthly fee. At no time did I sign anything authorizing anyone. The company is lying.
I believe that Online Suppliers has very shady business practices. If I would have known from the beginning that I was to be charged a monthly fee. Trust me, I would have never bothered. Which I deeply regret in doing so. Just another online scam! I'm sure I'm not the first in filing a compliant against this company and won't be the last. Thank you for your time.
This is my letter sent to the Better Business Bureau. Wwwsantabarbara. BBB.org
I found out afterwards that this company has over 418 complaints against them through the BBB.
I have since contacted my credit card and they are reversing the charges. Stay clear!
How is Online Supplier still allowed to stay in business?
