I signed up with AOL with a "free" 90 day trial CD mid July.By mid Aug they were already withdrawing my checking account and on top of that were double charging me! When I cought on to this when my bank statement came in I tried to have it fixed (I called and talked to an operator).
Currently they have charged me 3 months in a row and double charged me each time. I have spoken with 1 supervisor whose name was Matthew extension 38934. He promised to refund me the $162 that had been taken out of my checking account by error. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I've had a manager hang up on me today. 6 or 7 operators I have talked to that have given me the run around.
This has also happened apparently to others I know.
