Got a phone call from my bank the other day, couldn't take it so later on I checked my statement and found a $500 charge from epassporte.com, which I had never heard of before until then. I called my bank and started a fraud investigation. Later on I called back and they suggested I call epassporte, which I did and opened a fraud investigation there and got a reference number. They wouldn't do this without the card number which is a bit of a worry but the card has already been cancelled so I gave it to them. On reading the numerous other reports about this company on this website (which appears to be being used as a way of extracting cash from other people's credit cards) I called my bank and requested a dispute be filed, gave them the reference number and the fraud reports on this website. My bank (etrade) has so far been responsive, they've put my account on hold and are re-issuing bank cards, etc, but we'll see when it comes time to refund this charge. Others who have been victims please file reports, the more reports there are the better.
