5 years ago we moved from one house to another. At that time I contacted AOL to disconect my internet service (No Computer). AOL continued to bill my account for a year. I again contacted AOL and disconected again and asked for a refund of monies collected from my account. They refused. I then went to my bank and canceled the automatic monthly withdrawl. 3 month later AOL again withdrew the monthly due's and again I contacted them to ask why. They stated I do not have an account with them and should not be charged, but they continued to charge me for 2 more years.
I then went to my bank and had AOL banned from my account with no return possibilities. Now 5 month later I got two letters from bill collectors demanding money from me for AOL. I have not used AOL in a long time and disconected my service more than once. Why can they continuesly charge you for services not rendered? They are rip off artists and I'll bet they have done it a lot of times. Beware of AOL they steal from your bank account while you are not watching!!!
