Beware-check your bank statements regularly! A Company called Long Distance Discount Services -LDDS signed me up for their service and automatically withdrew their fee without my authorization from my bank account. I was never contacted by this company. The withdrawl came through my bank account from a payment processing center. This was going to be a monthly charge.
After contacting the payment processing center I was given thier customer service phone number, which only has an answering machine, you can't talk to a person. They say to leave a message and they will get back to you, but they don't
The bad part is - I have no idea how they got my bank account number!!!
The only bright light in this bad situation is the payment processing center was able to cancel the service and refund my money! Otherwise I would have had to put a stop payment through my bank as an unauthorized transaction.
