This is the most horrible online company I ever dealt with. There is absolutely no customer support. Emails are not accepted and the phone for customer service is not answered unless you are willing to be on hold for at least an hour.
I ordered a Panasonic 26' LCD TV from Dr. Plasma on Dec. 12 evening after checking with their sales rep. That the TV has the one year manufacturer guarantee, that I can redeem the $150 manufacturer discount coupon, and that I will get the TV for Christmas.
After reading the small print of Dr Plasma return policy and that I won't be able to redeem the $150 coupon, I called back to cancel the order, less than an hour after I ordered via internet. I was put on hold for 45mns, then cutoff. I sent an email requesting the cancellation.
I called back on Dec. 13 first thing in the morning; after 70mns on hold, I finally talked to the customer rep. Who said that my TV was already shipped, and that I cannot cancel the order, then she hang up on me. I tried calling again many times, but I give up after 60-80mns on hold. I sent more emails.
I received a confirmation that my TV was shipped on Dec. 13 and my credit card debited for over $1000. When I finally had a customer rep. Today after 98mns on hold, she confirmed that my TV was shipped. I requested the shipping confirmation number to check its status since it has been 9 days and I should have received it.
She put me on hold for another 15mns before telling me that she found out that they are out of stock of my TV, and that I have been back ordered for January. She was courteous enough to cancel my order.
Whatever you do, never order electronic equipment or anything else from this company. They are all dishonest liars, with no ethics, overcharging for shipment fees. It's only after you send your order that you get the catch that you cannot return the merchandise, you have to pay 25% restocking fee & shipments if you do return it, and many other conditions.
