I bought a wireless keyboard 2 months later it started acting up. I called the tech support and they said that it was because my desk had metal on it and therefore wouldn't replace it

I bought a wireless keyboard from circuit city on 4/13/05. It is now 6/23/05 and it isn't woring. I took it back to circuit city and they refused to give me my money back, because it had been longer than 30 days.

They suggested that I call the manufacture, so I did they told me that if my desk had any metal on it that it would interfear with the reception. No, where on the box does it say that metal will effect the recption of the keyboard.

My desk is wood and metal. They told me that if that was the problem I would not get a trade in or a refund. So now I'm stuck with a keyboard that I paid 127.00 for and it doesn't work.
