I have dental insurance through my employer. I went to the dentist office for services. They charged me for my services without using my insurance. I contacted my insurance company to inform them, I was told that I should have paid my co-payment only ($5.00). The office told me my bill was $80.00.
I have been trying to receive my reimbursement since 3/29/04. Everytime I go or call the office, the receptionist advise me that the doctor is on travel. Today, I went to get a copy of my biling and noticed they have change my billing history to reflect they owe me $15.00 (along with a emergency appointment — when I made an appointment in 2weeks in advance).
This is not the first time I have heard bad things about this office. I just don't understand why people try to take advantage of others when it comes to money.
