Ordered product off website, knew about the $1.$ charge to my credit card. I then received an email and was asked to click on link to "subscribe" to monthly something or another. This was over a month ago and received nothing yet.
Today, went to use credit card and was "declined". Boy was I stunned. Came home, went online to see what they problem was and very surprised that this company had charged my credit card $47.00 U.S. Funds WITHOUT my authorization.
I called my credit card company and told them what has happened. I was advised to call this company and get this mess cleared up and have the funds reversed back to my credit card.
I then called back to my bank and was told that I was suppose to get a confirmation number. UGGGG!!! So I had to call back once again and speak to someone who was hard to hear and had a very hard time understanding my email as I had to spell it out like 5 times to the representative.
I was told that no confirmation numbers are given out and that they send an email only. Well, that got me going as for some reason I did a google search for Marqi Life and saw consumer complaints and was amazed as to what I read. I explained to the representative about the Federal Regulation E. The rep said yes. I told him that the money better reversed or they will be hearing from my lawyer.
To ALL that read this, DO NOT BACK DOWN!!! I was very firm and stood my ground.
