When I signed into my credit card account on line (to pay my bill) today, I saw a $10.00 charge from this company. I rarely use my credit card on line, So I knew that I had not signed up for anything that should be charging me this fee.
I called my credit card company to report the fraud, and they informed me that it would be best if I called the 800 number and canceled my membership with them. My credit card company was so familiar with this company that they even knew it has an automated service to cancel your "membership" with them.
My credit card company reversed the charge, and I called Reservation Rewards to get them to stop charging my credit card the monthly fee.
The automated system gave me a confirmation number and said it would send out a confirmation email. I couldn't figure out how they had my email address, but they did. The email never came, so I called back and spoke to a Representative to demand my confirmation email.
She told me that when you order movie tickets from Fandango, If you enter your email address twice, you are signing up for this monthly service fee. I told her that I'm sorry she has to work for such a shady company. Dead silence.
She claimed to have sent me my confirmation email (which still did not show up either) and the call was done. This is one shady company! But fight them, don't let them get away with this.
