Saw an ad beside one of the health-related e-newsletters I receive.
I replied to CNS Inc., via e-mail, to order Acai berry edge, because it said a "free 21-day trial". I misread, or didn't see, that the "trial started upon ordering", not upon receipt of the item. I kept waiting for its arrival, which was 16 days after ordering. I then had 4 days to "try" the product. Since the deadline was on a Sunday, I didn't figure they'd charge the account then. Dumb idea!
This product was supposed to help "shed pounds in the abdomen". I have continued to gain weight instead.
I tried to contact the company the second day I had the product, as I was getting headaches, and I replied through the "Slimbody coach", which apparently has nothing to do with contacting the company. I e-mailed before the deadline to get the return product permission, but found one has to "phone" to get that.By then it was too late. GNS had already e-mailed me to say I was past the deadline, and they had charged my account for the two bottles they had sent.
Thank goodness I had used a credit card that will help me with fraudulent charges, if they won't remove the charge, or continue to charge me.
I will NEVER deal with this company again!
The Acai berry edge product contains Acai extract 4:1 250mg and 650 mg of a "cleanse blend" of papaya leaf, Cascara sagrada bark, dandelion leaf, milk thistle seed, slippery elm bark, ginger root, and senna leaf. These products are okay, if processed correctly - but it doesn't say who does the manufacturing for them. If I had seen the last ingredient, I would never have ordered, - as it has been the source of migraines for me. Needless to say, I have discontinued the product.
