Beware when dealing with this company. I experienced customer service claims of "whoops... Did we do that?" and guess who's having to pay...:
After placing a web order I realized I made a buying decision on an advertisement instead of a reputable specialist reccomendation that the ad is made to look like, from an ad placed in a reputable excercise health magazine. I called to cancel my order within 1/2 hour and spoke to a Kelly who said the computers were down but that she would take my electronic request and not place any order AND I would not be billed. At the end of taking my shipping i.D.information she didn't even ask for my web order number which I prompted and gave to her. Thought I was taken care of but...
Guess what... Got billed and the order was placed and shipped and the customer service rep had no record of this call to Kelly. Now I'm told I need to wait for the product to be shipped and I should write cancel and my card will be refunded.
When calling to let this company know that I have placed a complaint with the appropriate state legal entity I tried to be transferred to customer service from the much quicker answered sales number (in my opionion), and was told that management programmed their phones so as not to be able to transfer a caller to customer service. I find this questionable.
The state agency has around 30 electronic complaints filed as of 11/14/02.
