I am very dissatisfied with Apria Healthcare and will not purchase another thing from this company. I purchased a remstar plus m series with heated humidifier, and mask, I am very happy with the product but not with Apria.

I purchase a cpap machine on October 2. I agreed to pay Apria Healthcare $245.00 on the date of purchase but when I received my bank statement, Apria Healthcare had run a charge of $305.00 through my bank. Also, I was given a work order with the price of the Cpap kit at 1121.49. The statement of accounts that I received from the company show $1261.68. Total paid to date on account is $1328.70. I have received another invoice for a reclass of $200.00 that was done on 11/1/07 (I have been told that this was for the humidifier and then I was told that it was being reclassed because my insurance company said I owed it.

When Apria Healthcare submitted the claim to my insurance company they submitted $2004.00 and my insurance company paid $1023.00.

I looked the remstar plus m series up on the internal the afternoon and found that Apria Healthcare over charged my insurance company and me. A machine just like the one I purchased cost $340 for the machine, 150 for the Humidifier and 60 for the mask, which come to a total of $550 (this show around 199% mark up in this machine). I found this machine for this price on two websites.
