Don't by leather sectionals at The Brick - Leather sofa

I bought a total leather sectional couch in April at the Brick on Regent in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This year in April we started to notice small cracks in the leather. We contacted the Brick right away and they said they would send a person out to see it. Because that is my busy time of year as well as my husbands we let the 1 year warranty slip by, by a few weeks. It is just my husband and I that live here so I know the sectional has not been misused. The sectional cost $2600.00. We again call the Brick in September when we returned from our vacation. The brick told me there was nothing they can do because I did not take the 5 year extended warranty. They told me they will not do anything for me so they said to email you as you are the people who manufactured the sectional. I did not take the extended warranty because I did not think a couch (mainly for show as we usually use the rec room when we are home) worth $2600.00 would start to disintigrate. Basically what the Brick is saying is I got a lemon and or you, the manufacturer does shoddy work and to get over it. I can't and I won't. I will do everything in my power to either have it repaired or replaced. I work hard for my money, pay in cash when I do buy things and will not do anymore business with a company or manufacturer that gives no customer satisfaction.
I would appreciate your response of this situation.
