Advertised "Full USA Warranty" is fiction

I ordered Fuji x100 camera from them. The website says "shop with confidence all items come with full USA warranty". The camera arrived defective. I sent it to Fuji, which responded that I have to pay $650 since it is a Hong Kong unit not covered by... US warranty.

I contacted Primotronix. They agreed to exchange and promised USA warranty this time.

Once the camera arrived I contacted Fuji, gave them new serial number and... They said the same thing, not a US unit, not covered by US warranty...

Wrote an email to Primotronix requesting US warranty, they never responded. I called their number, and was instantly transferred to some extension that nobody was picking. Finally I called sales and they picked up. The person explained that it is a store warranty and not manufactures warranty. I told them that is not obvious from the website (in fact I could not find such explanation anywhere on their website).

The salesperson said they (store) covers it for a year, and that it is a store warranty not manufactures... The only thing I found was on the order itself:

"Any product defects will be handled by the product manufacturer under the manufacturer's warranty"

The salesperson continued to claim that this means "store warranty".

The website clearly states under "What's inside the box" section that the box includes:

"1-year Limited Warranty", that I could not find neither in the original camera box nor the exchanged unit.

I asked if they can send me something to that effect in writing, they refused and directed me to website. I asked if he could walk me through what this "store" warranty covers and how it works, and the person "thank me for my call" and hang up. I feel their website is deceptive when at least when it comes to warranty... And the treatment I received was rude. If you like the price then go ahead and shop with them, but if you count on this "full USA warranty" better keep your fingers crossed it does not break.
