Rip offs, well as an emloyee of this fine company. Alot at the akron sto9re is being done due to lack of knowledge of some management there. Like over charging to get the right merchandise because of people's age.
So sad, and even some there have done adjustments to make up for the lack of knowledge of upper socalled management there.
I have to say the saddest thing going on in this chapel hill store is this lack of interest in what is truely right. Yest they tell there employees and preach customer service but yet those here know the sad part is management isn't right buisness goes down and we are lined up to take the blame. Human error, even when a so-called mangager is involved we take the fall. Funny
when told about drug and alchohol abuse inside the store nothing is done. We have salesman floating around on coke, but yet some can be fired for an honest mistake sober.
This company is blind lost honest and good employees to what, lack of seeing? Truely seeing the good from the useless? Let me ask you, do you support a place that lets high and drunk employees deside what you should buy? Handle you credit card #'s? Funny? I think not nor have i when 2 managers there were told of this going on. Truely funny thing, a fill in manger while the gm was takeing his vacation smelled pot comming out of the warehouse. Funny isn't it jim? When you seen in the few days you were there. What has been a part of this buisness failing?
I truley think this man should be a part of this buisness.
You know i am a honest person. Fought hard to get to where i came and i wouldn't trust what is going on the chaple hill store. Rip off report? Yes this company as an employee has ripped off my life. To cover there own errors and i guess the sad part as i seen feeling ok about ripping off even the ederly. #'s, as they look at, not the people nor there own employees.
This store is the low end on the pole. So brady wake up, before it is to late. You have alot of good employees there left, honest and ready to walk because of lack of management and being abused verbally and and just fed up with lack of leadership.
I was there over a year and this is a sad case now, you can be fired over nothing now and put the comapny in further trouble. We took alot there being called idiots blamed for a manager's mistakes. I hope and pray that the couple this week contacted corporate office over myself being verbally abused ovver a managers own mistake. She and her husband dealt with a so-called manager the night before. Yes i saved the sale myself by treating the woman like a human being and being honest.
As she said the manager had a god-like complex but lied and called me names and accused me of what she herself seen him write down. I in no way am claiming i was perfect and yes made some errors but sad when i took the blame for a 25 year old so-called manger's mistakes and told to leave.
I guess i tell you if you want to deal with honesty in a buisness you might want to deal with another store. No saying all store in hhgregg are like this but this one well needs to clean up get on the right track and needs to see that management is the backbone of any company and this store ask for steve only manger that knows what the hell he is doing. When you have mangement not knowing how to talk to or deal with customers and litterly as i seen answering the phone and claiming they are the manager wen they are to avoid issues.
Chapman and brady have no clue what is going on in this store.

For the time i worked there i did far above the so-called job disciption made fun of for my age. Hot flashes given a time limt on closing because a manger had plans after work. Told to do other's jobs. That a manager could get his emplyees to do because he he was taken as a joke because yes i was fired today because of manger covering his own ass and he didn't know his job.
As we know about this mess we have taken falls for lack of management and today i took the greatest lost job benifits and hell to cover yet again a manager's mistake.
I guess i spoke of ederly because. I am 50 and the punk who fired me and made me take the fall for his own error in how to handle a simple problem 25.
You know i looked upon this company as a future ha ha...
I guess in all i learned and seen unless someone truely sees why the parking lot is empty there this place is doomed.
I guess being wrote up long ago over this same manager signing off and sending out the door products i never picked up and never told i was supposed to started this and yet again his having the keys to my register on demand of them and the only time in the 15 months i worked there $100 shortage. Funny each insodent same so-called manger. The same one who this past week said charge a delivery fee again to a 70 year old woman for deliverie's mistake. Broke two knobs on her stove. A simple delivery exchange but she was to be charged twice to get a stove. God what a company this is so brady. You had no clue to why and what is costing the buisness surley no this woman. But lack of being told the real truth. Brady can be reached as i know at the fairlawn store. You have complaints tell him.
