Worst customer service.
Dont go at sams club in wheeling, il, i think the store number is 8198, We opened our buisnes tax exempt account in march of this year, from very day one there is always problem of cigarette counter— which is always closed in morning between 9 - 10 am, we always have to find somebody to tell them that we need to buy cigarette so send somebody at cig. Counter, as always we have to wait for the person, I always send my employee in the day time with specifically cleanly written english, whatever cigarettes we need, still the "counter person ' always gives us the wrong cigarettes, my employees just pays the amount and leaves, when we get cig. At the store, there is always some mistakes, so when the next day i go to exchange it in the morning before 10 am, which is buisness members preferred time, the return dept "counter lady" as always refuses to exchange at first talk, then i have to explain her that its your mistake not mine, she still insists that your employees has to check what he is picking up, i try to tell her that —an employees is just there to pick stuff up, i always give my note in clearly printed english, — and still the cigarette counter person is not able to follow the instructions written on paper, after lot of argument she always take it back and tells me next time i am not going to take it back, whoever's mistake it might be, again as usual i have wait for somebody to open the cigarette counter, when i am there picking up cigarette my self —there is no mistake, this is always happening, couple of months ago— i wanted to get more info on security camera system, I had to wait for 25 minutes to get an electronic expert, who did not know more about that camera system, he was just reading from the box, which i could read,, i wasted my 30 minutes, always at that wheeling location —the management dont have enough people to assist their customers like me,
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HAPPEN TODAY, and that is why i am writing this review to let ALL BUISNESS OWNER KNOW THAT THEY BETTER DONT SHOP AT SAMS AT WHEELING LOCATION because —as usual i was in hurry at 9.45 am, i was at the cigarette counter which was surprisingly was open today—i got all my cigarettes, gave my membership card, as this is a business membership, sams system still counts all the sales as taxable item untill the very last when the "counter person " has to press a special button of tax exempt, which today the "counter person' pressed softly— which the computer system did not accept it, he told me to swipe the debit card which i did and entered the pin so the transaction was complete, but then he found out that I was charged tax, by now it was 10 am, i need to open my store, i told him be quick to do whatever he has to do, so he called some customer special something a young girl came by, i told her —RETURN MY MONEY BACK TO MY ACCOUNT as i had used debit card, she started scanning items and after sometime she tells me that she is running the whole transactions but without tax — to which I REPLIED—I TOLD YOU TO RETURN MY MONEY, I NEED TO KEEP MY BOOKEEPING ENTRYS CLEAN, what goes out, should come in - to which she replies —good for you, but she cannot do it as it is debit card, I had to ask her —whose mistake is it and whose computer system is it, by now it was 10.25 am, she told me that she can pay me back with gift card&I said O K, i got my $850 in gift card and just left, as i was leaving i saw 3 guys in an office, i stepped towards that door and asked nicely —sir is it possible to meet with the store manager—to which the guy
sitting on chair replied—the store MANAGER IS ON VACATION, he asked me if he could help me with something as he is the grocery manager / also assistant manager, i asked him — if i could get his buisness card so i could call him in half an hour after i opened my store&to which he replied —I am just here for few more minutes and then I am gone - means he is gone for the day at 10.28 am,, IMAGINE SAMS CLUB RUN WITHOUT MANAGER / AND ASSISTANT MANGER, RUN BY EMPOLYEES, THE EMPLOYEES WHO LACK PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, WHO LACK OPERATIONAL KNOWLEDGE, AND ALSO FEW EMPLOYEES OF EUROPEAN COUNTRIES —WHO CANNOT READ SIMPLE CLEAR ENGLISH, most importanly cannot refund money—forget about everything else, they have to give gift cards so we guys come back to them—I GUESS ONE OF THE MARKETING TECHNIQUE,,
so as i still have my gift card i would be going in couple of days back to cash my gift card, but then onwards trust me i am going to other wholesaler—costco, it just that sams is within 1 mile from my store, so ITS NEAR BUT NOT DEAR,
and secondly sams is cutting down on some cigareetes for cook county, they have cigarettes for lake but not for cook county,
So to all buisness owner go to this sams only if you have nothing to do, other than that — try to avoid this sams club,
