Narrative Description
I ended up with very large bills the last two months that my account was working. I also lost my job and was not eligible for unemployment. I asked if I could make some kind of payment arrangement, the only thing that I was offered at the time was a weekly payment plan but I could not make a weekly payment and no one would offer me a monthly payment plan.

At this time I have sent $400 of the $800 that was owed. I have received numerous nasty phone calls from your representatives as well as lies from your financial department. The Finance Department called me mid June and suggested that I go on a "step" program where finally I would be able to pay $100 a month and my plan would then be extend for as many months as it took to pay off the bill. Considering the way I had been treated I was not sure about wanting to be further involved with this company. At the end I did call them back and agree to the monthly payment at which time I sent an additional $200.

The worst thing about your company is the way that your representatives lie to customers and try to harangue them into paying the bill. I always agreed that I owed your company the money that I did not dispute. However what I tried to do was to get and easier payment plan on a monthly basis that I could afford and I was not allowed to do so.

One week later I received a statement stating that my phone had been disconnected and that I owed you an additional $175 for the early termination. I called to talk with the financial office again but was stonewalled by your representatives. They also denied offering me the monthly plan and the extended contract. When I offered to pay now they tell me I have to give them a $400 deposit.

At this point I am considering filing a law suit against Verizon for lost wages, since my clients could not contact me. I also want to let you know that never once did your company representative suggest putting the bill on a credit card.

Desired Outcome: How would you like the company to resolve your complaint?
I would like to be on a monthly payment plan so that I can pay off the bill and then continue with service without a deposit. I want to pay the bill and I want your representatives to stop calling me with their "attitude" and stop threatening me with a bad credit rating.
