This summer I saw repeated commercials on many television stations for a Verizon telephone plan at $14.99 a month. Vonage also advertised a plan for $14.99 per month. When I signed up on the phone with Verizon, I told the Customer Service Rep that I wanted the $14.99 plan. The CSR NEVER said that the $14.99 did not exist and confirmed my signing up for that plan. But when I received my bill, the charge for the monthly service was $40.06. They did give me a monthly $20.00 deduction, and added $18.31 in Taxes, Fees and Other Charges. The CSR told me that Verizon never had a $14.99 plan. My next-door neighbors told me that they saw the Verizon commercials for the $14.99 monthly plan. Can you help me? Verizon advertised one plan on television this summer and are no saying that that plan didn't exist. Please help me! I've lost my unemployment benefits, and was truly believing that I could get telephone service for $14.99.
