My story begins in September. I received a bill from Verizon for 594.00, well over my usual 80.00 bill. I took alook at my bill and realized there were hundreds of calls that I did not make nor did they come from my phone. I spoke with 5 different rude representatives before I got the fraud department. The fraud department, after two weeks, then claimed that the calls did come from my phone. I explained to them that I would have been on the phone every minute of the day for over a month. This is impossible. They said "Too Bad", pay the bill and everything will be OK. Thinking that the truth would come out, I paid my usual monthly payment. I then made numerous calls to customer service to make sure this didn't happen again. No one suggested changing my number or any other preventative measure so I cancelled my service with Verizon. Next, I get a call from a collection service, no final bill from Verizon, no anything. I am now on the process of filing a complaint with the FCC and I am researching to see what else I can do to let everyone know what a slimeball company Verizon is. They definitely do not care about their customers and their customer service is a big, huge joke.
