False Advertising - SOD and customer service

Bought 4 pieces of sod on 07/08 at 0945AM for my back yard. The sod did not catch but actually dried up on all four pieces but I watered it 3 times a day for 7 mins. Returned sod on 07/16 at Home Depot at 15975 Peris Blvd, Moreno Valley CA (951) 485-5400, they did not honor my sod since they say guarantee all plants for one year Posted up in 5 inch Capital Letters in front the customer service Area. The Manager Jeff was a lost soul did not know what to respond to me as he listened to the cashier and agreed that they don't take sod back. I asked Jeff Is sod a plant? Was rude and brush me off told him that I added the sod to the new soil in the back but your Home Depot grass has got patches, yellow and dying after constant watering. We went to (FNG) cashier in the garden department and they told us to dig up the sod and roll it back. We did this the same day and removed about 1/3 of my bad grass by hand to return to Home Depot. We get there and they say that I can't get store credit or anything. I talk to the store manager JEFF and he said that we have to take it up with the vendors because they ONLY sell the sod and other customers have been complaining about the sod. Home Depot Not standing by there products, they not honest about there prices & false information misleading customers.
