No picture sound only

I purchased a 32 Westinghouse TV approx 3 years ago (TV hardly used) model SK32H570D... When turned on picture comes on for 2-3 seconds, then goes black. You cannot get to the Menu, because screen is black... I've never had a TV that was hardly used go bad SO quick.
