WallMart purchase - not their fault though - Westinghouse 26" EcoSlimVivid TV

Run, do not walk, from any westinghouse tv you see for sale! I bought this tv about a year ago but didn't set it up for several months. Too late to return it to the store. I've NEVER gotten it to work. When you turn it on it either won't let you change the channel OR if you are lucky you can change the channel but within about 10 seconds it goes black for about 10 seconds then reverts back to the old channel number OR if you are on a channel you want to watch, about every 10 - 15 seconds the screen goes black for 10 - 15 seconds, makes loud popping noises and then comes back on. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! The only way to change the channel is to be lucky enough to get the channel to change and very quickly turn the TV off for 30 seconds and then turn it back on. It'll stay on the new channel but goes black as described above. Often takes 10 minutes or more to get it to turn off! Can't get anyone at Westinghouse to talk to me since it's out of warranty. $250 down the drain.
