Kodak Cameras
Cameras DON'T have advertised memory

Kodak and compusa both claim that the camera in question has 32 MB internal memory, which is false.
In fine print Kodak claims the camera in question only has 19 MB internal memory for photo storage, which is false.

The camera only has 18 MB internal storage MAX. Capacity TOTAL. So where are the other 14 MB internal storage?
Where is the internal memory for video?

Kodak claims in print in a email directly to me that quote - "all products that have internal memory in general or even the storage devices themselves in the market do not use the entire size for storage as they would be used for the information of the product."

This is false.

I have over 10 different kinds of devices with internal memory storage from many different manufacturers and though many do have some of the memory permanently used by embedded software they ALL show a memory capacity equivalent to the capacity stated in their advertising.

The simple fact is that kodak has stated that their camera has more memory than it does.

I have photos of the internal memory and it never had or will have the capacity for 32 MB.

Kodak is the only company selling cameras that has claims to invisible internal memory storage capacity.

I know it may not seem like a big deal but I dont think a company as big as kodak should be allowed to steal business from smaller companies that tell the truth. Just go to Best Buy and look up cameras that are less than $100 and you will see that kodak is the only company claiming this much storage which would be fine (I suppose) if it had that much - even if it were used by software - but the camera has never had that capacity as evidenced by the camera it self when you get it home and plug it in.
