I bought a SanDisk 8GB Extreme IV CF card from Adorama on 10/5/08. There was a $75 rebate offered. I sent in the rebate as per instructions within the time limits, but was notified a few weeks later that it was declined due to "purchase made outside of qualifying period". I immediately called to protest and was asked to resubmit by fax. I did that and heard nothing for months. I sent a letter of demand 1/27/09 and made several calls. Still no response, so I emailed Michael Finney from ABC7 "7 on your Side". I got a call back from an associate how got my info and then call SanDisk. I also called SanDisk and they approved my rebate. They said it would be in my hands no later than 3/3/09. Still no rebate check and nobody at SanDisk is answering my calls.
This has gone on long enough and I feel very ripped of both in terms of the money and especially my time.
