I want to relate a recent incident I had with SanDisk that your readers need to be aware of. I purchased two memory cards from Calumet and was told by my salesperson to go online and apply for the "substantial" rebate.
I have learned over the years to fill in the information (including how one addresses the envelope) very precisely.
After a two week wait (not unusually long) I received a card notifying me that I had purchased my cards outside the purchase period which was not true.
I then checked online and it appears that I am not the only one SanDisk has ripped off. I believe that this is a perfect example of false advertising and that photographers should band together and file a class action suit against SanDisk. I for one will never buy one of their products again.
