In July I purchased a Samsung CLP-300N Color Laser printer for my office from Buy.com. It came with a $150 mail-in rebate offer. Samsung verified receiving my submission but I never received the check.
After waiting the specified number of weeks, I contacted both Buy.com and Samsung. Buy.com says that I have to contact Samsung. Samsung said they would mail a second check. I never received either check.
Since then I've contacted them at least 4 more times. The Samsung rebate center keeps giving me the runaround, saying that they mailed the check and I'd have to wait.
It is getting harder and harder to contact the rebate center. One number has been disconnected and the hold times for the new number are incredible.
I think that they are liars and hope I'll just give up.
