Debited my account twice in a 10 day period!

I had paid my cricket bill on the internet a few times. I usually called it over the phone and paid with my debit card. The specific time that this occured, I had a problem getting the website to work. I typed in all of my info, everything including my checking acct #. The website never gave me an approval code. I got a message that the website was down for servicing of some type. I tried again later to pay it. I was under the impression that it went through this time, since it did not kick me out.
A week or so later, I received a letter in the mail that I needed to call this company called something "recovery services" (I now can;t remember the exact name). This letter was in reference to a payment that "did not go through". I called the number and the woman asked me the reference #. At the time, I was driving, unable to give her that, so she asked for my social (total idiot, I am). So I give it to her, she says that I attempted to make a payment, and it looks as if the problem is that the last few digits of my checking account did not show up to them.
Needless to say, she did not even know how much whatever the bill was. She asked me how much I wanted to pay, and I said "however much the bill is". She did not know, so I opened my checkbook to see what the amount was that I (thought) had paid on the website. $58 something. She says ok, and have a nice day, that kind of stuff. I asked her "so now I am in the clear, they wont shut me off or anything, will they?" She assured me that I was fine.
When I got my bank statement a few weeks later, I had a negative balance. There was an automated check for this "recovery Services", oh yeah, AND the exact same amount as an internet payment debited 9 days earlier!
I called my bankd to find out who these people are, they are a collection service for CRICKET!!!
Any time I wanted to pay something, or add something to my account, I could get a live person w/in 5 minutes. As soon as this happened, I spoke with a gentelman who gave me a fax # to fax a copy of my checking account statement to, and guess what? No one EVER called me back, and any time I called, all of the sudden, all operators are busy. Every day, every night, every hour of every day. I couldn't even get put on hold. It was just "try back later". I tried this for 15 days. I then called to disconnect the phone. No one was available to speak with me.
I get calls 3-4 times a day and mail from cricket that if I re-activate my account, I will get a discount, how about pay me back the $ that was STOLEN from me! Not to mention the $35 overdraft fes that I incurred due to this major headache. No one who calls can do that, all they are entitled to do is turn the phone back on. Nor can anyone give me a good phone number to call to investigate this any further. I tell everyone I know not to EVER do business w/Cricket.
