We bought a new Nikotronics TV for our Granddaughter for Christmas (bought it on web from PanMart). When we opened it on Christmas the remote did not work. We tested the batteries—all ok. We made numerous attempts to contact Nikotronics about this & got messages that nobody was available. I finally got a live human who answered. He explained they had been moving into new quarters. I adivsed of the situation & gave him the model & serial numbers & our contact information. He promised to send a new remote out immediately.
Almost four weeks have passed since then & no remote. We try their number & now it asks for a "passcode" to get to them. It is still the number their website lists for the company and for their customer service. I Googled the phone number & find that it is listed to Chailin Wei, President of Viewtek Corp. Their website talks lots about customer service, but you can't get to them.
