I ordered a Toshiba TV remote control-CT 90157. The website did not say the item was "used" so I believed I purchased a new remote. The remote came in an envelope with no paperwork - no packing slip or sales receipt showing how I paid. The remote is scratched and dirty and the springs that hold the batteries in place are corroded, I put in new batteries (tried 2 sets) and the remote does not work.
When I contacted EMTC, they asked for a transaction number. Since they never gave me a number (not even when I placed the order), I have nothing to work with. They have my name and mailing address, and since this is the first (and last) item I ordered from them, I cannot believe they can't find my order so that they "can look into the matter" (quote from their email).
