I purchased a Plantronics CS 50 Wireless Telephone Headset from Headset Discounters on eBay on 3/16/07. The item did not work right out of the box. After much communication with the company and with their approval, I returned the item to them on 5/8/07 as evidenced by USPS.com tracking.
After the item had been returned for some time, I contacted them about the refund. On 5/18/07, they responded and said, I will take care of this as soon as possible and issue you that refund via PayPal. No refund appeared. On 5/21/07, they said, I apologize in the delay of that refund. You will see that credit through Pay Pal within the next few days. Again, no refund. On 5/25/07, they said, I am unable to guarantee a time for that refund. Please continue to check PayPal for that refund. Nothing again. On 5/29/07, they said, I apologize for that delay! I can assure you that refund will be available via Pay Pal this week.
After waiting the week out, I contacted them again and they said the refund had been processed. It had not. With no faith that they would ever give me my money back, I left negative feedback on eBay and I decided to file this report with usacomplaints.com in hopes others would not be screwed over by Headset Discounters like I was. They stole a total of $142.95 from me.
