Cingular wireless
Ripoff did not commit to the " cingular promise" ripoff the business that doesn't give a dam tricked and lied to us Sacramento

I purchased two cell phones in April, and they hardley ever worked. They would work for a few days and then I could'nt make or receive calls for two weeks. I have been going back and forth with this company for four months. They kept saying that it was Nokia's problem, and that the phones were broken.

At that time one of them had been working ok for a couple of weeks so I went to return the not working phone, since I purchased the insurance it should'nt have been a problem right? Wrong, they told me that I would have to pay an extra $35.00 because they were no longer using this phone model# 3390 that I had only purchased a couple of weeks before.

I had Nokia send me a new phone, and the problems never stopped, I've been on the phone with Cingular wireless "tech support" people who follow a script that I almost have memorized, at the end of our games of verbal ping pong they usually say one of these two things, " sounds like you may need new phones" or "we will put in a trouble ticket for you" what ever that means, when I tell them that I've been told all of these things before they get silent and say that is all they can do. I have since been e-mailing them on a regular basis and I have stopped paying my bill.

Of course they are talking about how this is going to reflect negatively on my credit report but at this point what can I do? So as of now I have two cell phones in my bedroom that don't work, I guess they suspended the service last week, but I would have never known if not for a letter they sent, how could I have known when I could'nt make or receive calls on these phones in the first place.

I feel Ripped off and betrayed, Cingular wireless now says that I will have to pay $300.00 to be released from this ridiculus contract. The worst day of my life was that day in April, when on my lunch hour at work I purchased two cell phones from Cingular wireless.
