My husband and I purchased a camera (Sony DSC-H@ digital camera) from Wisetroics online website for $289.00 22.50 shipping. We received and e-mail confirming the order with the correct dollar amount. My husband then received a e-mail requesting a phone call to confirm the order he spoke with "murphy" and received high pressure selling tactics to purchase additional items, when he refused the man then stated that the camera might take longer to ship than initially expected. My husband told them not to ship the camera if it would not arrive during the promised 3-5 days. He was assured after requesting to cancel the order that we would received the camera in a timely fashion. I then checked the wisetronic website for tracking purposes, and noticed the price of the camera and shipping were more then originally agreed on, $329.00 for the camera and 33.50 for the shipping. Again we called and spoke to "murphy" and was told a mistake had been made and another "package" had been shipped out with "more accessories" and that is why the camera and shipping was more. My bank account was also charged this amount as we payed using our check card. The shipping information was shown as "pending". I immediately called my bank and filed a discrepancy with the charge. I then called back and asked to cancel the order, spoke with "murphy" again, was told that I could not cancel my order and that it had already shipped. I received a tracing # that showed the item had been scheduled to ship but that the camera had not been picked up.indeed the item did not get shipped until 10:57 that night (spoke with murphy around 8pm requesting the cancel of the order.) "murphy" was also very rude and condescending. What happened to me was a bait and switch and illegal. Wisetronics fraudulently charge my account more money than agreed.
