After purchasing a Rebel Xti camera online from 1wayphoto, I received a call from one of their sales people requesting the security code on my credit card to confirm the order. The sales person proceeded to tell me that the battery included with the camera only lasts 15 min. And that I should upgrade. After several high pressure tactics I reluctantly agreed to the 'upgrade' for $86. Upon receiving the camera, I learned that the battery and charger I 'upgraded' to are listed in the manual as included items with the camera. The invoice received with the camera showed an increased price for the camera line item but no line item for the 'upgrade'! Also included on the invoice was an additional 'Shipping insurance' of $37.50 that I never saw or agreed to on the original online purchase.
