I purchased a Sirius Satellite system in late December online and was told I could receive a $50 rebate. The radio system didn't arrive until Jan 3. I immediately subscribed & activated my system. When I read the rebate offer, it required the system be purchased & activated by Dec. 31 2005. I called their customer support & asked. I was told they extended the deadline for activation & I would qualify. I sent in all the necessary documentation & waited. On March 3, I received a postcard that I did not qualify because of the dates. I emailed customer service & they told me I would have to send everything back in to the rebate center, along with a copy of my customer service email which informed them the dates were extended. What a rip-off. Why wouldn't their rebate center know their own requirements. I'm still trying to get this rebate.
