I purchased a Sirius Radio at a local Circuit City store in mid-November. The radio came with a rebate valid until 12/3/05. I immediately sent in all required documentation for the rebate, and a few days later, confirmed via their web site that they had received the info and it was being processed.
The rebate never came, and I eventually received a postcard in late January, advising the "EIN" number on the radio I have is not a valid number for a Sirius radio, although Sirius debits my banking account each month for service on the this very radio.
I have spent hours on hold trying to reach customer service, sent numerous e-mails, only to be given a canned response each time. They asked me to resubmit all information again, which I have done, and they say it will take 8 more weeks to determine if my radio is valid.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of New York City but have hear nothing. It is very frustrating that I have spent all of this time to get a rebate I am entitled to. I am seriously considering cancelling service. If Sirius Radio treats customer with no more respect than I have seen to date, I am not sure I want to continue adding to their profits.
