I recieved 2 (I bought 2 radios) cards in the mail from Sirius Satellite radio stating that i did not qualify for a $50 rebate because "the terms of my agreement do not qualify for this rebate" and if I had any questions to call a customer service number. I called and was told that they were no longer handeling the sirius rebates, When I asked why I was told that Sirius sent out thousands of denial cards and to call the new number. (hmmmmm) and was given another number to call.
I called and when I finally got a csr (just press O don't go through the menu crap) I was told I had to sign up for 6 months of prepaid service to get my rebate and if I would like to do that now I would get it. HA! I don't think so.
I bought my radios at Circuit City so I went to their web site and pulled up the rebate. Guess what! All I needed was to have 6 months of continous service not a contract and NOT prepaid. I called cs back and was put on hold. When the csr came back she was very nervous and asked me to fax a copy of the rebate to her. I'm not giving up on this one.
Sirius' earnings are low this quarter. This is a heck of a way to earn a profit.
