I purchased a complete DELL system on 8-13-04.in the spring of 05 I had printer problems. DELL replaced it. No problem. When I noticed it was replaced by a 'refurbished?' printer. I let that pass because I thought I had a 'quality' product and this couldn't happen again.
Now I am experiencing many problems. Shutting down in the process of printing colored photos. Ruining them. Major clicking everytime I start a new print session. Printing is still happening, but I think it's grinding to a stop.
I got on chat with DELL, after a time they told me there was nothing they would do. I need a new printer. If I'd like I should go to a local repair. I'm the only user of this product and I do not use it everyday. Top of the line, no problems, no kidding, I thought I was there.
Never will I buy DELL again. They are almost impossible to 'talk' to. I did better 'chatting' in a connection, but a supervisor was asked about it and the 'chat person' came back and said 'no deals'
I feel I've got big 'useless' piece of equipment. They should call this product 'disposible'. I thought I had it for years.
