To set the stage, I was interested in the 966 dell printer base price: $199.00 with optional wireless capabilities, taking the price to 258.00. This price reflects $20.00 off the internal wireless adapter.

Included in the base printer price is only the printer. After adding the wireless option the printer now includes the base price printer, Dell 966 internal wireless and Ethernet adapter, along with a Dell USB PRINTER CABLE.

With a wireless adapter an increased cost of $80.00 less 20 bucks= $60.00

The fixed price includes a USB printer cable.—Why pay for a cable that is not needed? Dell states that it is FREE. Since when is anything in this business universe genuinely free?

I would still like to purchase this printer without the cable and the included unrealistic expense for it.

How silly to include a cable with a wireless product, when the cable is not included with the basic printer.
