I have been attempting to get my HDTV repaired/replaced since July 14th. We called them and they sent a technician to our home on July 22nd. The technician said the TV was fried and needed to be replaced. The repair company sent a fax over to the warranty department at Circuit City, who was to call us with a voucher number to replace the t.V.
We have called them 7 times since then, and have to speak to the Escalations Department. We have been on hold waiting for someone to answer our call for a minimum of 45 minutes per call, with some excuse each time as to why they haven't taken care of our situation.
I am on hold for the 8th time right now; we were told 2 days ago it would be 48 hours (their standard timeline) until someone has called the local store to obtain which item we should be picking up. When I questioned why I didn't receive a call back, we were told the are "discouraged" from making outbound calls; if that's so, why do they promise a return call? I have spoken to Jane at x8078 (who never called back after stating she would), Sunita and Anita (who's voices sound REMARKABLY the same) at the escalation desk.
