I purchased a 57 Mitsubishi TV from Circuit City in April.in July the light engine went bad and a call was placed with Circuit City since we spent the extra $269 for the Advantage Protection Plan. The television was not repaired until October 12th.
During the many calls and escalations, the Circuit City customer service people interrupted me on the phone, blamed Mitsubishi, then the repair company they contracted with, and did not once offer any solution other than to wait. Waiting 3 months for a repair on a 57" television is unacceptable. I have since purchased another LCD and plan on purchasing one more in the Spring. I have no desire to waste my money with Circuit City though.
