My three year old Samsung refrigerator (I paid around 2000 $) started leaking from inside. I contacted Samsung and they scheduled an appointment for me with their repair shop to fix it.
Also, they said, I had to pay my own money because the refrigerator is no under warranty.
A service person informed me that my refrigerator had leaking from drain on back panel behind CoolSelect Pantry because the drain is not long enough and ice slowly builds up around the drain causing the leaking. Also, he said, it is a common problem for Samsung refrigerators with bottom freezers, but Samsung makes additional extensions for that for 150 $. So I paid, total, 250$ (75$ per a visit 150 for their piece labor and tax). Is it not strange for you when Samsung makes refrigerators with initially defective parts and, then, sell additional parts so called " extension clips" for 150$ to fix that?
And second, why a costumer has to pay for Samsung bad design even if it no longer under warranty now.
