Purchased two years ago. Just outside of my one year warranty I was doing some cooking whenmy wife and I noticed a strange smell then there was smoke not a heavy amount just a stream coming from back of oven. Then the oven gave me an error code so I pulled the oven out to inspect. There is a control board that was all black from burning had it replaced at my cost. Now about 10 / 11months later burning again. So I pull oven out again this time I have a wire that was burned up that it burned itself apart from the electrical contact. I would stay away from LG unless you want to take the chance of burning your house down and killing family. 2 years old you shouldn't have to worry about that.
