In February we entered into an agreement with Norvergence to supply us with a T-1,800 numbers, fast internet service, cell phones (as many as we needed) all of which would have saved us about $100 per month in telephone costs. About a month later they screwed something on our telephone wall and left. Since then we have not heard hide nor hare from Norvergence. Just a monthly statement from Preferred Capital Inc.
In May I sent each company (Norvergence and Preferred Capital) a letter noting that we had been abandond and were cancelling all agreements with them. Preferred has sent us a demand letter for the whole amount due them over the 60 months, some $26,000 and change.
Does not the company purchasing contracts have some fiduciary responsibility in the transaction? From what I've read tonight it would seem that some governmental agency should step in and do an investigation and stop this scam.
